NOYU’s mission is simple yet powerful: to empower youth to become agents of change in creating a more sustainable world. We believe that young people have the creativity, energy, and drive to address the challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation.

What We Do

Through our projects, we focus on two key areas: climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable resource management.

Climate-Resilient Agriculture: Agriculture is the backbone of Uganda’s economy, but it is increasingly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. At NOYU, we work with farmers to implement practices that enhance resilience to climate variability, such as conservation agriculture, agroforestry, and water management techniques.

Sustainable Resource Management: The sustainable management of natural resources is essential for maintaining ecosystem health and supporting livelihoods. We collaborate with communities to promote sustainable land use practices, forest conservation, and efficient use of water resources.
