About Us

NOBLE YOUTH FUNDATION UGANDA BACKGROUND.

Noble Youth Foundation Uganda (NOYU) emerges from a transformative journey, evolving from its regional roots as Lango Youth Development Network (LAYDNET) to embrace a national vision. This rebranding signifies a commitment to inclusivity and a recognition of the diverse tapestry of Uganda. NOYU aims to impact the lives of children and youth across the nation, transcending geographical and ethnic boundaries.

The organization’s shift is more than a name change; it symbolizes a leap into a future where impact knows no bounds. While rooted in Lango, NOYU’s vision extends beyond regions, breaking down barriers and fostering a universal resonance. The rebranding aligns with the organization’s noble mission of youth development, education, and empowerment throughout Uganda.

In the face of challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, conflicts, unemployment, and rising teenage pregnancies, NOYU stands as a beacon of hope. Originating in response to the Northern Uganda conflict, the organization envisions a community where children and youth flourish with hope and resilience. Despite past hardships and current complexities, NOYU remains resolute in its commitment to creating positive and lasting change in the lives of Uganda’s youth and children.
